Description: | Contract Quality Assurance Engineer Testing for XML based applications We've got an immediate opening for a software engineer with a solid knowledge ofthe basics of perl, preferably with some testing experience and a strong aptitudefor testing. You will be developing and maintaining Perl scripts, creating test Plansfor medium to large scale enterprise applications. You'll work with the engineer lead to enhance product quality and resolve software bugs. This is primarily backend work such as setting software infrastructure, automation and testing API's. This assignment will include *) Develop and maintain Perl scripts of moderate complexity *) Write test plans based on design specifications*) Execute test plans, monitor test plans *) Generate test data*) Report product defects *) Communicate well with the development team and project managers |
Qualifications: | - BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience - 5-6 years of QA Experience- Ability to write and execute detailed test plans - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Proficient user of Windows and unix- Working knowledge of C/C++, HTML, XML, PERL - Experience with Automated Testing- Knowledge of Performance Testing (SilkPerformer a plus) - Some knowledge of databases (Oracle, mySQL) |
